Using FruglFam

• FruglFam helps you organise household spending, receipts, bills, subscriptions and prices. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity in your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
• A household owner can invite members. Members can see the household's shared data; the owner controls household settings and deleting the household.

Not financial, tax or legal advice

• FruglFam provides information and estimates for your convenience only. Insights, categories, cash-flow projections, price comparisons, subscription detection and assistant answers may be incomplete or wrong. Always check important figures against your bank, card and receipt originals before making decisions.

Automated processing

• Statements, receipts and questions are read by automated AI systems, which can make mistakes (for example, misreading a faint receipt). You can correct, re-read or delete what FruglFam extracted.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the files and information you add. You give FruglFam permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Only upload documents you have the right to use. Do not upload other people's information without their permission.
• If you turn on community price sharing, you allow anonymised item prices from your receipts to be shown to other nearby users.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse FruglFam: no attempts to access other households' data, break security, overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Plans and changes

• Features may change over time. If paid plans are introduced, prices and terms will be shown before you pay, and app-store purchases follow the store's own billing and refund rules.
• We may update these terms; the date above will change and, for significant changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use FruglFam means you accept the updated terms.

Ending your account

• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Your data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

• FruglFam is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available.
• To the extent the law allows, FruglFam is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information in the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you haven't paid anything).

Governing law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where FruglFam is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
